Heart Disease & High Blood Pressure – Prevent it

In the last couple of posts, I have provided you with information about high blood pressure (hypertension) and how it can be damaging to your heart resulting in heart disease of various kinds.   High blood pressure results in damage to blood vessels, and can increase the plaque build-up within them.  Your heart also has to work harder, resulting in making it weaker over time.  That is why it is so important to make sure you get your blood pressure checked regularly.
